Transforming a Victorian Pine Cupboard into a Modern Contemporary Storage Solution
This beautiful victorian pine cabinet was hidden in an upstairs bedroom. I stripped it years ago when it was in to strip everything made out of wood, but had a moment last weekend and convinced my daughter to help me drag it downstairs to transform. Painted in Farrow & Ball.
See what I do to transform it.

Kerrie Talks Her Country Crush...
I love the layers to this room, its country vibe with lots of texture and the way they have tied in the balustrade steps on the stairs with the colour of the door. They have then gone for a softer grey with the addition of the hall flooring and grey cabinet finished with white skirting board and lots of white to lighten up the look. The wooden floor is emulated with the use of a wooden table, chairs and the hanging chopping board in the distance to pull the look though to the hall. The wooden legs on the cream chair and wicker on the edge of the basket near the door pulls it all together. -

Creating Interest In The Garden On a Budget - Build Your Own
Adding interest in a garden
Who doesn't love a bit of interest in the garden something to watch a little weekend project? I debated for some time weather to put these in a row or random because I like things lined up in threes.
Get the Look
I bought these simple bird houses from home bargains they were only £3.99 in blue or green I would stick to three of the same colour, obviously if your building is very long use 4 o5 to create impact for a fraction of the cost of other bird house. Be prepared though they don’t last forever I bought one around 2 years ago and the roof started coming off I just nailed it on, so feel free to choose something more substantial like the following.

Weekend Gardening in the rain! - With Margaritas!
What do you do on a rainy Sunday if you are an Interior Designer?
You create!
I have always been creative from a very young age, making things and creating new looks ideas and even chopping up and adding to clothing to make unique pieces.
Today I'm doing a spot of indoor gardening because I am desperate to get outside to do some planning. I have already mowed the lawn last week on a dry day!. The mower was not happy to come out in February but I like a well-manicured garden.
Take a look at how I have used these gorgeous chicken wire lanterns to create an indoor oasis of spring bulbs. -
