Kerrie Talks Green: was used for balance, serenity, joy It encourages you to be independent and make changes
This is a design we did for a Luxury rehab centre, the owners wanted to make the guests feel at ease when being welcomed into the environment so I choose this fabulous green for the curtains and the upholstery to lift everyones spirits.
Green: was used for balance, serenity, joy
It encourages you to be independent and make changes, as well as enhances feelings of love, joy, and inner peace. Green is also said to stimulate wisdom, hope, strength. -
Period Door Colours
Kerrie Griffin Award Winning Interior Designer founder of The Interior Co, Gets Painting! I've made the decision to give my Grade 2 listed farmhouse's front door a fresh coat of paint. This decision is twofold: it will provide better protection for the timber, and it aligns with my preference for a streamlined aesthetic. While I appreciate the charm of exposed timber, such as a beautifully uncovered oak beam, I'm not a fan of excessive orange timber. However, that's a topic for another time.
If you're looking to revamp your entrance, consider giving your door a makeover. When it comes to selecting a colour, I recommend using a colour chart to find a shade that either blends seamlessly with your property or stands out boldly, depending on your preference.
Since I have to strip off all the existing PVC paint from this building, I need a starting point for my design.

Commercial Interior Design - By Kerrie Griffin
With the both of our creative minds working together, one with always in the back of her mind what is best for her clients and me with my design knowledge, knowing what is best to get her those clients to add value, where to cut corners and where not to. We worked as an incredible team together and I am honoured to have worked with her. To get a testimonial after and wanting to work with me again, it's just a sign of the professionalism between the pair of us to be able to get on and just do the job. Here are some of the colour boards for one of the rooms that I created which I absolutely love, I always offer the choice of two designs because often you'll like quite a lot of one room and a little bit of another so I then pull that design scheme together. I hope you like it and I can't look forward enough to working with Fenella again. -
Period Drawing Room - My Way
In this room featured in 25 Beautiful Homes Magazine. I have used Farrow & Ball French grey on the walls this is one of my all time favourite colours from Farrow & Ball especially in Period properties because it gives that real depth to a room with changing light coming in shadows reflecting back. As the day goes on the colour changes, which creates a moody room for the evening, which lets face it who wouldn't want to relax in. -
Kerrie's Coronation Weekend Pink Gin
Kerries Coronation Weekend Pink Gin
I wanted to celebrate for weeks to come the new king, he has waited so long for his title and I feel it deserves celebrating in style so this morning I have made my own recipe of coronation gin.
Here goes
Preserve the taste othis combination in a bottle with this raspberry coronation gin, perfect topped up with a tonic. The gin will keep its lovely pink hue for a few months it then goes a little darker in colour so not as pretty so make a batch every month dependant on how much you drink.
