Be inventive with your window ledge garden, use containers you wouldn't have thought of. Old soup tins are a favorite, But these tea time tins take center stage.

Think of ways to bring the outside in this Autumn and create something interesting to look at at the same time. Go to junk shops and dig out some interesting antique style planters or china cups and plant them up each month with new herbs.

But don't forget one thing! make sure you use them. Put them directly on the table if you are serving a Bolognese or a pizza then put the basil on the table with rock salt and pepper in mini white finger bowls to pinch!
