Country Kitchen

This was a hall with a big oak staircase but it was not in the right place in the house the hall had 5 doors off it into little rooms it was a huge space totally wasted.

I decided to get rid of one door which led into the main 32-foot lounge which entry point brought you in half way into the room so the visuals were not as stunning as they could have been.

I then took down 3 walls one was the main supporting into a very cold utility room and another into a conservatory and a hall which was unused as it was an old back door. I then removed the third being the split where the new kitchen stools are which opened this up into a huge modern living space.

I laid Oak flooring to the Kitchen from Quickstep this took me a whole day.

Seagrass by Crucial Trading was put down in what I call the Garden Room.

I have used various free standing pieces from our website which gives a more country feel.
I dry brushed the beams with Annie Sloane to give a more modern feel to the farmhouse making the space look much bigger.

The walls are painted in Elephants Breath by Farrow and Ball in the kitchen.

Accessories from F&M in London and The Interior Co and Emma Bridgewater.
