Country Bedroom

                      

This room is double story vaulted and beamed, there is no ceiling and it looked so tall intact overwhelmingly so as it was painted white and with my, no white paint near beams! rule this had to go. The ceiling was painted in the dark paint the same as the walls to bring the height down and make the beams look fabulous!.

Here I used one of our fabulous padded beds which are 5 foot, the wardrobes were oak but the colour took away from the hotel feel I was trying to achieve so these were painted in eggshell F&B Country Cream along with the skirting to finish the frame of the room.

The cushions were handmade with some fabulous Irish linen beige on one side and slate grey on the other. 

We laid a fur throw over the end to bring in the slate to finish the look.

Lamps were from our collection the little linen holders at the side of the bed were from H&M
