Attic Bedroom

This was a one-story garage, The owner wanted to convert in to a holiday cottage but the head height was too low two previous designers had quoted but their builder said the height was not going to work so Kerrie was called in, Kerrie got her joiner to lower the ceiling so it had exactly 6 foot which was the required height according to the council in the middle part of the room. The legs were reduced on the bed by 5 inches so it would fit and the positioning on the bed was placed so when you sat on the edge of the bed to get in you were at the highest point in the room.
Kerrie installed tongue and grove to both ends of the room horizontally to create the illusion of greater width the painted them white, then rollered grey over the top to create the striped look giving a greater with visually.
If you would like Kerrie to quote for a job please use our contact us page at the bottom of the website.
